This book is devoted to the history of contacts between the Russian abroad and the Holy Land in the 20th century, the role that Russian emigrants played in the preservation of the Russian presence on the Holy Land. The Russian spiritual mission in Jerusalem, public organizations, Russian monasteries continued to exist after the 1917 revolution, in fact, becoming part of the Russian abroad. Thanks to this, the whole XX century, the Russian presence on the Holy Land was not interrupted
