The book is dedicated to Hitlerism as a special period in the history of Germany. It describes the essence of this movement and its basic characteristics, but the main attention is paid to explaining Hitlerism, an attempt is made to understand the causes of the Holocaust. The author provides arguments that Hitler and his accomplices are primarily to blame for the crimes committed by this regime, but we must not forget that huge masses of the people, with their traditions, characteristics of national character and archetypal values, have fallen under the influence of Hitlerism.
A special place is given to the crowd as the most susceptible, gullible and controlled part of society, in which all its social layers can be represented.
