The authors of the book consider the development of the state and law of Russia from 1861 to 1917. Through a brief review of historical documents. The manual consists of three chapters. Chapter 1 considers the Russian state and law during the bourgeois reforms of the mid -19th century (1861-1881) Chapter 2 characterizes the Russian state and the right of the counter-reform period and at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries (1881-1905)
Chapter 3 is dedicated to the Russian state and law at the beginning of the XX century (1905-1917) All sections include tested material on the issues under consideration, taking into account the knowledge of the latest legal historiography.
The manual is intended for university students, including students in the specialty "jurisprudence", undergraduate, as well as for all those who are interested in domestic history. The emphasis on historiography and source studies aims to help students in independent work with literature in the preparation of reports, coursework and thesis
