To the 4th volumes of the original publication, an atlas-an application to the publication: "History of cavalry guards and Kavavalerny of Her Majesty Regiment, from 1724 to July 1, 1851" with original Ill. This four -volume is the story of the most brilliant and privileged regiment of the Russian army. By the day of the coronation of Catherine I, the Cavalry Guard Corps was formed as the honorary guard of the empress in 1724. This regiment was equipped from representatives of noble Russian surnames. In 1800, Pavel I reorganized the Cavalier Guard Corps into the three-estate Life Guards Cavaliergard regiment, which became part of the guard troops on an equal footing with other guards regiments. The first chef of the regiment was appointed General Fedor Petrovich Uvarov, who fulfilled this honorary duty until his death in 1824. The Cavalier Guard regiment adopted the combat baptism on November 20, 1805 near Austerlitz. Since 1881, Empress Maria Fedorovna was the chef of the regiment, and the regiment was called the Kavalkerard of Her Majesty Regiment. The History of Cavalry Guards was compiled by a military historian, an officer who also served in the regiment, Sergey Alekseevich Panchulidzev (1855–1917) The publication is illustrated by color reproductions with the watercolors of A. Baldingra and N. Samokish with the image of cavalry guards in historical form, as well as portraits, schemes, maps and diagrams. Books are made according to the technology "Print on demand"
