The book is a collection of selected works by the famous domestic Americanist Honorary Professor MGIMO, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Olegovich Pidnov. It collects the best of what was created by the author in small forms for a half -century creative life in science. All these works are united by high historicism, based on careful work with documents from the archives of Russia, the USA and Great Britain. Some of these works were published in small publications or abroad and turned out to be inaccessible to the Russian reader. Some of them are supplemented by the author with new documents specifically for this publication.
