The collection contains materials from the Ruso conference, which consisted of October 20. 2018, they reflect the controversial problems of the modern historiography of the Russian Cossacks. A number of articles are devoted to the historiography of the military history of Russia: the Russo-Turkish war of 1710-1713, the Patriotic War of 1812, the First World War, the Civil War, the Great Patriotic War. The latest research on Soviet literature on the public movement in Russia of the XIX century is presented, shown as the image of V.I. Lenin. In it you can also draw information about the Russian peasantry at the beginning of the 20th century, about white terror during the civil war, to understand the problems of censorship policy to protect state secrets at the present stage.
