The labor presented is the result of many years of research work of socialist historians involved in the study of historical weapons, stored both in museum and in private collections. It includes articles in which a wide range of problems of modern weapons will be affected. The articles contain studies on the topics that are relevant for the museum community and weapons of weapons as the study of the history of the weapons workshops of Russia, the countries of the West and the East, the history of the formation of weapons museum and private collections, the scientific attribution of weapons monuments, new data on masters, designers, owners and collectors weapons.
The book introduces the previously unpublished documentary materials related to individual weapons monuments and collections.
