Historical chronicles. Pokrovsky Cathedral in Sevastopol

Pokrovsky Cathedral is one of the most "young" preserved temples of pre -revolutionary Sevastopol.
At the same time, his story is dramatic, but at the same time saturated with significant events.
Pokrovsky Cathedral was built in 1905 on Bolshaya Morskaya Street. Among other churches of the city, he is distinguished by a "civilian" purpose, as well as a rare neuro style of architecture for Sevastopol.
Archival studies conducted by the author together with Sevastopol researchers made it possible to create a detailed description of the history and background of the temple, as well as its communities for 120 years in the context of key episodes of the past of our city.
