This collection of articles is the ninth volume of a periodic scientific publication about the domestic and foreign heraldry. It contains studies on the influence of digitalization on the existence of emblems, emblem of domestic heraldry, heraldic book collections of the first half of the 18th century, the reflection of Russian noble emblems in foreign historiography, modern municipal emblems of Russia, about heraldists A.P. Barsukov and S.I. Afonasenko, a unique catalog of the coal seals of the Rurikovichs of the XVIII - XIX centuries is published (110 descriptions), articles about the symbolism of the dynasty of the Romanov, Kolyubakins, Knyazygorchakov and Karakash. For the first time 44 letters of V.K. Lukomsky for 1912-1946, his manuscript on the attribution of the mummy of Count K.E. Sivers, as well as a complete list of heraldist’s works, brought to 2021.
