This monograph is not a textbook, not a reference and not "history of Hellenism". The author’s task was to investigate the laws of the history of Hellenism, to determine the place and significance in the history of the ancient slave -owning society, to include in the general logical process of the historical development of the peoples of antiquity. In this sense, the monograph is the work of a philosophical and historical nature, in which a lot of attention is paid to special issues, topics of a problematic nature. The actual story of Hellenism is given quite systematically, and the reader will be able to get a clear idea of the consistent course of the political, economic and cultural history of Hellenism
