Six books of the memoirs of Sir W. Cherkel "World Crisis" are one of the most important historical documents dedicated to the First World War. None of the serious studies of this period were without references to many years of work of one of the most significant politicians of the 20th century. It brightly and with knowledge reflects the causes, course and consequences of a global conflict that destroyed the empire and redrawn the map of Europe, which contains many factors affecting life and current generations.
