For everyone who is familiar with the latest history of Russia, the word “August” is associated with a number of tragic events. But first of all - with the criminal collapse of the Soviet Union. 30 years ago, in August 1991, M. Gorbachev, who was elected president of the USSR and assured citizens in his commitment to socialism and the unity of the Soviet state, cynically betrayed the left -paved forces that sought to defend them.
It was then that a fatal step was taken to the destruction of the world"s first state of workers and peasants, a society of social justice. Its creation and achievement became the peak of our thousand -year history. And his collapse led to the fall of the economy, the defeat of industry and science, the degradation of medicine and education, the elimination of social guarantees that have no equal in the world. To this day, we are reaping the fruits of this disaster.
