The first edition of the monograph on G. F. Miller, entitled "Russia in German historical journalism of the XVIII century. G. F. Miller and A.F. Bushing "was carried out in 1988 at the end of socialism in the USSR by Tomsk State University. The scientific work of these scientists in the field of education was recognized as a kind of unique evidence of the dialectical interaction of two national cultures, German and Russian, which had a great influence on all Western European education. The monograph played an important role not only in the scientific fate of its author, who received the degree of Assembly of Tomsk University, the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences, but also in the historiographical fate of its main character - G. F. Miller, who was finally recognized by the scientific community of Russia as the founder of its historical science.
