The workbook is part of the educational and methodological set on universal history, created in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education and the approximate program of basic general education. The content of the notebook is fully consistent with the textbook "Universal History. History of the New Age. Grade 9 "A. Ya. Yudovskaya, P. A. Baranova, L. M. Vanyushkina and others.
The notebook is designed for independent work of schoolchildren at home and in the lessons. Each textbook paragraph is offered tasks focused on the formation of universal educational actions among students. Tasks marked with a star (*) have an increased level of complexity. For a final verification of the level of training of students" knowledge in history, a variety of test tasks in the format of the OGE to each chapter of the textbook are included in the notebook.
