This publication first presents a complete history of the emergence and construction of the first summer imperial residence in one of the picturesque corners of the southern coast of Crimea - Oreanda. The landscape park of the Lower Oreanda was the prototype of the parks of other royal and grand-ducal estates, which later appeared in Livadia, Massandra, Ai-Todore, Mischore, Koreise ... The park was partially preserved to this day and will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2025.
The authors also first studied the history of neighboring estates - Count I.O. Witt in Upper Oreanda and Princess O. P. Dolgoruka in the Kurpaty.
