The book highlights a set of issues mainly related to the underground development technology of coal deposits: brief information about the main mining and geological and mining characteristics of coal deposits, terms and concepts used in mining, category of reserves in the development of mineral deposits, autopsy, and Preparation of reservoir deposits, conducting and mounting mining, basic and auxiliary processes of treatment, development systems, mine ventilation. This is the second edition, supplemented by materials according to the main indicators characterizing the completeness of the use of mineral resources of the earth"s subsoil (losses and raising the extracted mineral), and the basics of calculating the hydraulic exporting of the mineral.
