From the Middle Ages to the Joyful House: Schools, Students, and Teachers of the Italian Renaissance (14th-15th centuries)

The authors of this work comprehensively showed how in Italy of the XIV-XV centuries. Under the influence of serious changes in the economy, social, political and cultural spheres, a gradual transition from a medieval school with its obsolete programs and methods, and bodily punishments for a new type of school took place. An important role in the birth of a new school was played by a humanistic movement and a pedagogical program formed in its paradigm.
