The relevance of the study of revolutionary processes in various countries in the era of modernity is beyond doubt. The study of the ideological sources and the essence of revolutionary processes allows you to more deeply understand the patterns of their occurrence and development, their impact on the modern world. In the monograph, for the first time in Russian Americanism, an attempt was made to trace the connections between the ideas of education, American revolutions and reforms in the XVIII-XIX centuries. Using the latest methodological approaches (comparative studies, imagology, content analysis, discursive analysis, interdisciplinary and sociocultural approaches), on the basis of a wide range of educational literature and a wide variety of sources, the authors analyzed the process of reception and transformation of the educational epistemic in the context of the formation of a new American state, further development The revolutionary revolutionary process, which included the era of two American revolutions. Such stories as a reception of educational ideas in the North American colonies, their reflection and refraction in American constitutionalism are considered. Separate chapters are devoted to the influence of enlightenment ideology in the 19th century, the change of paradigm and the perception of the main concepts of education in liberalism in various aspects (Jackson democracy, reformal movements, the problem of freedom, democracy and human rights and the fight against corruption in the era of civil war and reconstruction)
