Dzongsar Jamyang Khyenza Choki Lodro (1893-1959) is one of the greatest Buddhist masters of the Tibet of the last century, the holder of the programs of all the main schools of Tibetan Buddhism, a convinced adherent of the extra -class movement to Rome, recognized as the manifestation of the incomparable Jamyng Khyenza Wangpo.
In the first half of the book, informal stories from the life of Khyenz Choky Lodro, his teachers, students, friends and relatives, who were collected and retold, were collected and retold, Tobgihal Rinpoche and which are published in Western languages for the first time. Very personal, filled with humor and simple truth of life - these stories, complemented by black and white archival photographs, draw a touching portrait of a common man, which at the same time was the greatest master of Tibetan Buddhism. The second part of the book presents a detailed spiritual biography of Jamyang Khyenza Chokye Lodro, written by one of his closest and most talented students - Dilgo Khyenza Rinpoche. Talking about the life and liberation of his beloved teacher, Dilgo Khiens reveals his image as the embodiment of the Buddha himself and, with the help of his inspirational biography, indicates to us the direction leading to the achievement of enlightenment
