Monograph "domestic artillery. A brief history and development prospects" contains material on the emergence, formation and development of domestic artillery, it conducts a study of the prerequisites for the occurrence, development and the main directions of improving domestic artillery. The first chapter of the work states the history of the creation and combat use of artillery, the main device and the tactical and technical characteristics of artillery systems. The prospects for the development of artillery guns are indicated, including the technique of airborne troops. The second chapter is about mortar weapons, in the third - about the reactive systems of salvo fire. Separate chapters are devoted to missile weapons of the ground forces, anti -tank artillery, and command vehicles of the artillery fire control and technical exploration of artillery. The work explores the features and directions of the development of domestic artillery, periodize the genesis and improvement of the missile forces and artillery of the Ground Forces of Russia.
The book tells about individual samples of artillery weapons, which have not been included in serial production, the reasons for the closure of projects are investigated.
