The release includes a large group of all -Russian words with a complex semantic structure, a large number of meanings and use (destination, standing, etc) The main goal of the compilers of the dictionary: a lexicographic description of the lexical composition of the Russian language of the XI-XVII centuries, based on the reconstruction of the history of the word, its phonetic appearance, grammatical changes and, if possible, reflecting the first fixation in the monuments of Russian writing. Significant attention is paid to the critical understanding of the data "materials for the dictionary of the Old Russian language" I.I. Sreznevsky. The preface provides a list of amendments and clarifications to "materials", a list of newly used sources is given.
