Diary for 1839

In the diary of the fellow practitioner A.S. Pushkin, the Lyceum, who later became a major dignitar of the Russian Empire, Modest Korf, is captured one year of his life, closely related to the activities of the State Council. Korf was a state secretary, and his records are a chronicle of the functioning of this higher legislative institution of the empire.
