The first researchers of the problem under consideration claimed the expansion of agricultural production during the Great Patriotic War and compared military supplies of food with the blanks of 1940 - the most successful pre -war agricultural year. In subsequent works on this topic, historians and economists traditionally correlated the military production of agricultural products with 1940 revenues.
