The Great Patriotic War was the most tragic and difficult test for our state in the twentieth century. One of the reasons for the victory of the USSR over Germany was the state collective farm-household policy, the main task of which was to ensure the needs of the population for food supply. The study of the victorious completion of this war in favor of the Soviet Union does not lose its relevance today.
The problem raised in this work has a greater scientific and socio-practical significance. The relevance of the study is associated with the emerging course of the Russian Federation for reindustrialization and import substitution. In addition, the relevance of the study of historical experience in solving the food problem in the emergency circumstances of the war is due to the need to overcome economic sanctions and the transition of the Russian Federation to self -support agricultural products to achieve food independence
