She called herself Princess Elizabeth Vladimir - the daughter of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna and Alexei Razumovsky. In 1774 she declared her claims to the Russian throne. It was stolen by order of Catherine II in Livorno Alexei Orlov and brought to St. Petersburg. At the investigation, she did not admit guilt and did not reveal her origin. She died in prison in the Peter and Paul Fortress.
