In October 1941, German troops entered the territory of Crimea and by July 1942 it was completely occupied. During the occupation of the peninsula by the German-Romanian troops, most industrial and civilian facilities were barbarously destroyed. The cities of Kerch and Sevastopol, many resorts and historical monuments were completely destroyed. On the territory of Crimea, the invaders pursued a policy of the genocide of the civilian population.
The partisan struggle of the local population was the response to the terror of the invaders, to fight with which, using the national and social contradictions that arose in Soviet society, the German command began to form anti -Partizan detachments from the local population.
The new book of the famous Crimean historian Alexander Nemenko, based on previously unknown documents, talks about the life of Crimea under the German occupation from 1941 to 1944
