Book A.G. Emelyanova (in the author’s version - "Persian front. 1915-1918") was first published in Berlin in Russian in 1923 and has never been reprinted since then.
Author, a direct participant in the battles in Transcaucasia, describes the household laid and the fighting of the Russian troops located in the territory of Persia (now Iran) as part of a separate Caucasian Cavalry Corps under the command of the general from the cavalry N.I. Baratova. Ordinary and officers of the corps honestly fulfilled their military duty even in the rebellious time of 1917 and the beginning of 1918, when the Russian army, which finally decomposed under the influence of revolutionary propaganda, was no longer able to fight.
The compilers of this publication considered it necessary to place as an application of the letter of Grand Duke Dmitry Pavlovich from the Persian Front, where he was exiled for participating in the murder of Grigory Rasputin
