This is the first book about the main marshal, commander of artillery during the Great Patriotic War N. N. Voronov. Prior to this, there were only brief essays about him in various publications, and his activity was truly generally generally and was not exhausted only by issues of the combat use of artillery, having received a high estimate of I. V. Stalin for the development of domestic artillery and contribution to victory over fascism.
The book is also interesting because it first publishes not only the facts of the Marshal’s military fate, but also many unique photo documents of that era. Readers will see archival photographs in which the Komkores G. Zhukov and N. Voronov congratulate each other on the victory at Chalkin-Gol, as well as the pictures of Voronov with the outstanding military leaders Rokosovsky, Vasilevsky, with French President General de Golem, Marshal Chaibolsan. Special feelings are caused by a photo in which N. Voronov and K. Rokosovsky interrogate the captive Field Marshal Paulus on February 1, 1943 in Stalingrad
