The monograph is devoted to the history of little -known white formation - the Saratov corps. The corps was formed under the Don Army and acted during the fall of 1918 - winter 1919. The basis of the corps was the peasants of the part of the Kamyshensky and Tsaritsyn districts of the Saratov province. The soul of the whole undertaking was the colonel of the General Staff, Viktor Konstantinovich Manakin. The history of the corps unites three plots: it is the dynamics of moods and the development of confrontation in the rich region - in the south of the named province, it is the history of the emergence, exposure and combat fate of the Saratov corps and the units that entered it, and finally, this is the life path of an active and unrestrained headquarters after the revolution an officer who has become at the head of the formation.
