The collection includes the tasks of the Interregional Olympiad of schoolchildren "Higher test" on the history, history of world civilizations (IMC) and Oriental Studies for 2011-2014, as well as materials on the “Design” profile for 2015/2016 academic. The Olympiad is held in two stages: the first (qualifying) - in remote format, the second (final) - in full -time. The collection includes tasks, answers, evaluation criteria and some other materials.
The main goal of the Olympiad "Higher test" on history is the search for schoolchildren who show the ability to occupy historical science. But no less important task is to show the participants of the Olympiad, which means to deal with history, what knowledge, skills and skills are needed by students -historians, which they are taught. Therefore, the tasks of the Olympiad are related to the analysis of historical sources.
Olympiad "Higher test" on the history of world civilizations is focused on schoolchildren who are deeply interested in the history of foreign countries. Participants can demonstrate their knowledge on the history of mesoamerics and ancient Assyria, ancient Greece and medieval China, the Roman Empire and the powers of Carolingians, Victorian England and the Polish People’s Republic. Information from the courses of related disciplines will be useful to schoolchildren: literature, social studies, the history of world and domestic culture and art (in particular, visual material is actively used in tasks).
Olympiad "Higher Sample" according to Oriental Studies is special, since to complete its tasks is not enough knowledge of the usual school subjects. High school students are invited to participate in the Olympics, who are interested in history, economics, literature, languages, art, religion, philosophy and ethnography of the countries and peoples of the East.
At the qualifying stage of the Olympiad "Higher Sample" in design, participants must load the design work performed in advance in one of four areas: communication design, animation and illustration, environmental design, fashion. At the final stage, the participants perform a written task in full -time format, including answers to questions about the history of art, as well as writing an essay on a given topic on one of the proposed illustrations
