The book is dedicated to a policy aimed at turning Romania into an ethnically homogeneous nation, which in 1940-1944. The Dictator of the dictator Ion Antonescu was conducted. On the basis of published and archival materials, the ideology of radical nationalism is analyzed, which this government professed and which believed the achievement of ethnic "purity" of the nation of the highest state wisdom, methods of promotion to this goal, among which were the exchange of population with neighboring countries, deportation and the extermination of entire population groups, As well as the reaction of the Romanian society to this policy. It is shown for what reasons the Romanian policy became more moderate during 1942 and why only a small part of the originally conceived was put into practice
