The Alfonso X chronicle is one of the main monuments of the Castilian chronicity of the XIV century. Compiled at the court of Alfonso XI (1312–1350), it opens the cycle of the so -called. The Royal Chronicle is dedicated to the rule of Alfonso X the Wise (1252–1284) and contains a detailed story about the main acts and initiatives of this king. Two uprisings against the king that occurred during this period are highlighted in the “chronicle”: the uprising of the magnates 1271–1273. and the uprising of the Crown Infanta Sancho IV 1281–1284. In the text “Chronicles”, original documents are saved: the requirements of the magnates, their correspondence with the royal court, letters of Alfonso X to the wife and children.
