The new textbook of chemical thermodynamics is written in accordance with modern university programs for chemists and chemists-technologists. It contains a representative description of the basics of thermodynamic science along with a more compressed presentation of issues of phase and chemical equilibrium, the theory of solutions, electrochemical thermodynamics and the thermodynamics of surface phenomena began. The book uses the lecture material that the author gave for a number of years to students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the RCTU named after D.I. Mendeleev. The textbook is distinguished by specificity and brevity, the accuracy of formulations, the lack of common words and lengthy reasoning. Thanks to this, the author managed to state a large part of the modern course of physical chemistry in a small book. At the same time, the book cannot be considered as a brief manual - this is a full -fledged textbook. Tasks with solutions are given.
