"Che. 1917-1922. Encyclopedia "is a systematic scientific and reference publication, which accumulated modern knowledge about the All -Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter -Revolution, Sabotage and Position crimes under the SNK of the RSFSR. It gives an interpretation of the terms (concepts) that reveal the main directions of the activities of bodies and the Russian Federation forces: the fight against economic crimes, the suppression of the subversive shares of the enemy’s special services and counter -revolutionary organizations, ensuring the safety of the Red Army and the navy, participation in the suppression of the rebel movement, rebellions and the fight against political banditry , the liquidation of opposition parties and others. The book contains biographies of employees of the central and provincial devices of the Cheka, Soviet and party leaders, representatives of science and culture, whose activities were associated with the Cheka, leaders of anti -Soviet organizations, the white and rebel movement, agents of Western intelligence services, and under investigation of the Cheka during "Red Terror".
