Over the past thirty years after the (First) Cold War, the perception of nuclear weapons has become partially folklore. The feeling of a direct and obvious threat to humanity was replaced by a rather carefree attitude to a nuclear theme as a source of historical jokes and a kind of anachronism at the end of the twentieth century. Daniel Ellsberg does not intimidate the reader, as can be assumed from the catchy name of the book, he does a much more important thing. It recalls that the nuclear sphere is very serious and incredibly important, no matter what happens in global politics and whatever leaders appear on the world horizon
