A collective monograph was prepared for the 150th anniversary of the formation of an independent state of Canada. The authors analyzed modern processes and events in the main areas of the political, economic and social life of the country. The first results of the new government after the change in 2015 of the ruling party, the economic situation of the country in the era of global instability, the dynamics of foreign economic and foreign policy relations of Canada, its interests in the Arctic and other issues are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the relationship of Canada with Russia and the USA.
