The British General Major, according to the memoirs and diary entries, recreates the genuine history of the actions of the expeditionary corps entrusted to him, who arrived in Baku in August 1918. Reveals the tasks set for the group, which, by the name of the commander, began to be called Dunsterors, as well as data on the numerical and national composition of the soldiers and the technique at their disposal. It tells about a difficult path with a length of about 400 miles, from Persia to the Caucasus in an impassable mountainous regions through the Asabad pass. It gives a characteristic of the Provisional Union with a detachment of Cossacks under the leadership of L. Bichekhov and relations with representatives of the Central Caspian, who had received power in Baku by that time.
