The second book, entitled “The Brief Economic and Political History of Latin America” is an integral part of the author’s author of the trilogy and covers the events that occurred in the postcolonial period: from the beginning of the war for independence until the end of the 19th century.
As a result of the liberation struggle to power in the Creole republics that appeared on the map, national oligarchic elites came. From an economic point of view, the essence of changes was to gradual adaptation of new ways of assigning surplus value in close linking with the transformation of the methods of operation of labor resources from the changed “owners of life”. A epoch -making transition from archaic, semi -feudal forms of management to the predominance of capitalist relations took place. The socio-political consequences of this process, expressed through the struggle of conservative and liberal elements in society, varyed depending on the characteristics of each society.
