The book "Berlin-45" is unusual. The days and nights of the last assault are shown in it through the fate of its participants - soldiers and generals, commanders of corps and ordinary scouts, tankers, and infantrymen. Some heroes of the book passed the war from the western borders of the Soviet Union to Moscow, and then through Smolensk, Belgorodchin, Donbass, Belarus and Poland to Berlin. The fate of the heroes are shown against the background of a complex time. The author introduces into circulation many little-known and unknown to the wide reader documents, which in many respects allow you to look at our history, cluttered in the previous years by the invasions of ideology, myths and outright lies. Among the heroes are General Ivan Roschy, tanker Colonel Amazav Babajanyan, scout Grigory Bulatov, guard singer Lidia Ruslanova, who in May forty -fifth gave her famous victorious concert on the steps of the defeated Reichstag. For the first time, the picture of the rear and the provision of troops of the 1st Belorussian Front was shown - through the fate of General N. A. Antipenko, a talented organizer and a fearless warrior
