Beach 1917. The events of the year in the satire of contemporaries

On the 100th anniversary of the revolutionary events of 1917, the anthology of the satiric-humorous weekly "Beach", published in Petrograd, is published. On the pages of the magazine - political caricatures, satirical drawings, poems, parodies and cartoons for key figures of political actions. Today, with their help, we can present the mosaic of the events of 1917 in the lighting that is close to the real one, to feel and analyze the emotions of past years, the images and faces of the revolution captured in the satire and humor.
All materials in the publication are built in chronological order and are preceded by articles containing an overview of the general socio-political situation of that time, the historical chronicle and comments of researchers. The album is equipped with reference materials: indicators of political figures, artists and writers who collaborated with the magazine "Beach".
