The book is devoted to the characterization of one of the most stable and effective banking systems of the world, thanks to which the German economy is largely successfully functioning and the requests of society for the entire range of banking services are satisfied. The monograph as its specific features distinguishes the principles: unconditional accounting of historical traditions, observance of continuity and the priority of national interests. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the factors and conditions of the functioning of banks with various legal nature, the client base, the federal and regional representation, a variety of strategic goals and objectives, which, on the one hand, provides the banking system with a high level of stability at various stages of economy development, and on the other hand, and on the other , creates a favorable competitive environment and thereby forms the prospects of future development.
