At the end of 2015, Yeltsin Center was opened in Yekaterinburg (formerly Sverdlovsk) The pompous building called the museum, whose leadership aims to show future generations, what was Russia of the era of Boris Yeltsin. Natural, the bias in the activities of this museum will be in the direction of ennoblement of that time. But were there such times, if they were recorded in folk memory as the "dashing 90s"? And what exactly was their "daring"? The book of Fedor Razzakov.

The scalpel in the hands of the historian acts ruthlessly and inexorably. There is not a word of untruth in this book, since it is based on the real criminal chronicle of those years, collected from a wide variety of printed sources of that time: books, newspapers and magazines.
This book will never appear in the Yeltsin Center funds as a visual exhibit, but it is precisely what it is valuable - with its non -aggregativeness. In a country where liberal propaganda climbs out of the skin to ennoble the era of Yeltsin (it is no coincidence that almost all the cream of modern liberal party was honored with the opening of the Yeltsin center), books about bandits born of the era of "dear Boris Nikolayevich", a priori cannot be in liberal trend. But this does not mean that they will not be in demand by another audience - the one for whom that era is still a bleeding wound. It is for the purpose that those times are not forgotten and never returned, and this book is written.
