This work was written by an outstanding historian, doctor of historical sciences Alexander Bokhanov. This is the first book of the author in the trilogy of historiosophy of Russian statehood. It defines the Institute of the Historical power of Rus" - Russia of the period of a single centralized state: from the beginning of the 16th century to the fall of the monarchy in 1917.
Being next to Western Europe, having many diverse ties with it, adopting many of the household lifestyle, borrowing technological and technical innovations, Russia managed to maintain its own speciality, its self, despite the winds of changes that believe from the West. The two great forces created and held the state system, giving it a unique flavor and unique content - Orthodoxy and autocracy. They historically have been updated in close interaction, and the last four centuries of stories have existed in inextricable unity.
Attracting a huge and diverse historical material, the author explores a complex and contradictory process of formation and development of monarchical power, identifying a spiritual and moral aspect as a dominant.
