The book is a detailed study of how theft of the greatest military secret in the world, about its participants and the motives standing behind their actions. The reader presented a story about the life of some of the main actors of atomic espionage, based on documentary data, mainly on their personal testimonies in court and in the interrogations of the FBI. In addition to the detailed presentation of the events that led to trial of Rosenbergs and others, the book contains curious details about their childhood and youth, personal qualities, relations with relatives and colleagues. The narrative immerses the atmosphere of frantic anti -communism of the beginning of the Cold War and is a vivid example of unbridled anti -Soviet propaganda, little known in Russia
