A universal educational and methodological kit for geography for the 8th grade (author-O.V. Krylova) includes a satin, contour maps with practical work and a collection of tasks for working with the atlas. The kit was developed in accordance with the "Concept of the Development of Geographical Education in the Russian Federation" and aims at the formation of knowledge about the geographical, natural, cultural, ethnographic and socio -economic diversity of Russia. Numerous and diverse tasks presented in the "collection of tasks" and on contour maps contribute to the formation of the geographical culture of students, expand their geographical knowledge about their native country and their "small homeland". The proposed tasks will help students master universal educational actions in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard.
