A universal educational and methodological kit for geography for the 5th grade (author-O.V. Krylova) consists of an atlas, contour maps with practical works and a collection of tasks for working with a satin. Their main goal is to instill in students interest in geographical knowledge. The content of the materials of the kit is aimed at learning the basics of knowledge about the Universe and Planet Earth, as well as at the formation of their original cartographic skills in them: to determine the sides of the horizon and the mutual position of geographical objects, compose elementary geographical descriptions, compare and classify.
