The publication is a collection of scientific works of the Medievist historian Renat Meletovich Aseinov (1982–2015), a specialist in the history of Burgundy of the XV century. And the court of the dukes of Burgundy. The book discusses various aspects of the political, social and cultural life of Burgundian society. The main attention is paid to historical thought, which was formed by the court chroniclers of the dukes and other historiographers (Georges Chatelene, Jean Molina, Olivier de la march, Jacques Du Clerk) The ideas about the image and power of the sovereign, his relationship with the courtiers and representatives of the subject territories, the ratio of the royal and ducal power, the struggle of the court groups for the spheres of influence, etc. are analyzed.
