The book tells the story of the Arshinov family - large philanthropists and philanthropists who contributed to the development of special education and science in imperial Russia and the Soviet Union. Based on archival surveys, the authors first traced the fate of the Arshinov family members from the end of the XIX to the middle of the XX century. The contribution to the creation of the Arshinovsky Park and the organization of the first private scientific Petrographic Institute "Litogea", which began the study of domestic natural resources
