In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Alex Gromov presents his new book dedicated to the war in the Arctic.
Although everyone interested in Arctic is well known for the outstanding role of our soldiers, Red Navy, local population and representatives of indigenous peoples, who provided the needs of the front and rear, this page of history is still not so widely covered in literature. Meanwhile, it was the Arctic, the Northern Sea Route made it possible to supply the allies so necessary for the country, that the famous polar convoys passed there.
