The articles include various materials for the study of polar areas. The development of a unified technology is presented for studying magnetic activity in a polar cap according to two polar stations located in the Arctic and Antarctic. Materials on the study of the flow of the mainland ice of East Antarctica are generalized. A geological overview of the longest branch of the system of median ridges of the Indian Ocean - Australo -Antarctic rise is given. The issues of the connection of the hydro -ocoptical and dynamic parameters of the surface waters of the North Atlantic are considered. A number of articles are devoted to the study of phytoplankton, its seasonal development and distribution, as well as the ice flora and the study of organic compounds and suspension in the polar seas.
